Ellie was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a strong and determined business woman. Ellie fought many battles in her life; however, her battle with ALS was her most challenging. Faced with adversity she met it head on. After being diagnosed with ALS in 2005, Ellie was committed to living the final days of her life to the fullest. She took each set back in stride and found ways to cope with this debilitating disease. Her lasting wish was to never give up on the fight against ALS.
Who was Ellie?
The Ellie Reynolds ALS Foundation provides people living with ALS and their caregivers with the day-to-day comforts they need to achieve a higher quality of life at little or no cost.
As the illness progresses simple everyday tasks that we take for granted become difficult for the person living with ALS.
The Ellie Reynolds ALS Foundation raises funds and works with construction companies to provide home improvement services that are needed, such as:
Installing wheelchair ramps
Expanding door ways
...and much more
We are committed to working with caregivers and patients to ensure that those struggling with ALS can live their lives to the fullest.
